Upper Limb Disorder (ULD) Drop In Sessions
Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is now commonly known as Upper Limb Disorder (ULD).
Free ULD drop-in sessions will be held on the last Wednesday of every month. The Computing Service assistive technology specialist will be available to offer accessible information, advice and guidance on a variety of ULD issues. We do not provide medical assesments but we can suggest a range of appropriate medical services depending upon individual circumstances.
There will be an opportunity to view a range of assistive technology equipment from alternative computer input devices, such as ergonomic keyboards and mice, to the latest voice recognition software.
Students and University or College staff experiencing any form of ULD/RSI are encouraged to come along to a ULD drop-in session. No prior appointment is required, and there is no charge to students & staff. Staff who are supporting students and other staff members with a ULD are also welcome to come along for advice on how best to offer support.
