Apple will be hosting this seminar about their Intel transition, focusing on aspects that are of interest to those involved in research and scientific computing.
The speaker, Eric Albert, is a Senior Software Engineer in Apple's Core Technology group. During Mac OS X's transition to Intel processors he has worked on almost every part of the operating system. Prior to working on bringing Mac OS X to Intel he worked on the shared-source .NET project ("Rotor") at Microsoft and for Apple's Java Team.
All are welcome, so please feel free to pass on information on this event.
If you would like to attend please email Clare Bartlet cpb10@cam.ac.uk.
